I can tell you what will happen there - it will show up as an "A" lens, and won't transmit any focal length information to the body. The "A" converters don't have the digital signal pin. I'm pretty certain the 1.7 AF adapter doesn't change the focal length information; it either transmits it unmodified or blocks it.
