I don't want or need mechanical aperture position sensors in my DSLRs. I'd rather Pentax saved me the cost of it, no matter what it might be, and put the development money into delivering a DA28mm f/2 Limited lens. My lens kit is all most recent series Pentax lenses ... they do a better job.
If, however, a mechanical aperture position sensor was there it wouldn't bother me. It would be about as relevant to my needs as the human appendix.
