Sorry, to hear of your loss Boris, especially if you had a good copy, which judging from your results, I would guess you had. None of the lenses you've mentioned seems to be in the same class, reputation wise, as the F 70-210. You might want to look at a super zoom, say in the 28-300 range as well. I get surprisingly good results with my FA 28-200, and a friend has the Tamron 28-300 which she uses on her Canon with very good results as well.
