Been dealing and working with a local camera store (Elliott's Photo-Marysville, CA) for the past 20 years. Been a long and complex relationship. Most all good. Have had retail displays all those years with virtually all displayed and sold work printed, matted and framed by their staff. They still offer such services. (sans a darkroom). Have a surprisingly good long standing relationship with the owner (Gary Elliott) and his family. At the suggestion of Gary's Store Manager daughter, they bought an adjoining store and stocked it to the ceiling with possibly the largest inventory of Scrap Booking inventory in Northern California. Store runs the better part of a block with training classes and work rooms always appearing busy. Gary has confessed that it has made the difference in allowing them to stay in business. Don't buy much of anything there anymore, but do sell both framed and unframed mounted/matted work. They keep a small portion of the selling price and sell a frame now and then along my unframed stuff.
