Yes, it actually is possible, or at least it was with the film bodies, with the modification Mark Roberts and others have made to their lenses. But, as we have said in a different thread, Pentax won't tell us what/if something has changed in the matrix metering of the DSLRs, so people speculate that this is just another mindless decision to cripple the cameras further.
