It just says that they really screwed up their pricing to me. If they really had a handle on the market they would have priced it below the competition but not sub US$1000 (which seems to be the current cascade pricing point). Then they could have ended up with a far better profit/item ratio and not been completely overwhelmed with orders.

In terms of useability, though, it is clearly in the mold of the DS--function menus rather than buttons/dials. The K10D is a DS upgrade. For useability, it is a downgrade from the *ist D.
