That was one thing... but not the only thing... Part of it was lack of help when I was helping some totally non-savvy folk with their connections a while back Earthlink here may be different than earthlink elsewhere. seems there were an especially frequent occurance of worms and viri that somehow was connected to them. Timer warner's tv cable service is first rate..... but I had to explain my problems twice to people who had no idea waht I was saying before they linked me up with a high-end techie who stayed with me a long time trying to work things out...
