Pretty much what I planned to do, although the internet machine is a newer machine (2005) with a much faster processor than my Photoshop machine (1998), so I'm able to do XP & PS CS2 on it. Still stuck with win 98SE & PS 5 on the older machine. Waiting to get aroundtuit & purchase a new pc spec'd out for handling my photos. An interim solution for you might be an external hard drive? I just purchased a second drive for $0.50 per gig, down from $2.25 per gig a few years ago. I don't know if your problem with the USB is mechanical or not, but there are some things in the windows program that have to be set correctly for the USB port to operate. I wish I could direct you to them.
