At the moment, all I care about is being able to use the printer, the scanner, etc... I have 3 or 4 possible local helpmates for serious computer problems.... But not immediately
I had planned fairly soon, even with being strapped, to get another computer to use to connect to the internet. I fact, if I had another computer here right now I could get a lot done by hooking up all the stuff I had on the USB ports to the new bus But I have to get to TIme warner to iron the thing out about the modem and why they didn't mention Earthlink to me when I signed on for the internet add on. Marnie pointed out I can toggle the monitor between the two systems.. or might be able to. I may throw out some more questions tot eh list at large for reassurance on a couple of other points. thanks all of you for the suggestions and 'there, theres' I do need to have a faster connection to be able to make any money at all. ann Shel Belinkoff wrote: > > Ann, > > I feel for you, however, I think it's time for you to move into the 21st > Century.
