It's no surprise at all.

Regardless, my own testing of the lenses in question demonstrated to  
me that they were *the same* and typical of the family of lenses to  
the extent that my needs required. I don't care if some other agency  
tested them and found otherwise as I obtained first hand data that  
proves enough for my satisfaction.

I've found enough web site and magazine test data to be far enough  
off the mark that the fact that my testing produced different results  
doesn't surprise me one whit. I'll always prefer my own data.
