NO, or rather, most likely not - download the Canon images to the computer,
reformat the card in the DS.  Always format the cards in the camera in
which they'll be used.  Don't format in the computer.  For best and safest
results - although neither I nor anyone I know has had a problem doing this
- don't delete files in the computer, but, rather, reformat the card in the
camera. I've read this in a couple of places, so I figure, why take a
chance.
