Yes -- I have experience with the D and the DS2. I was hoping that Jens, who has expressed serious frustration with the buffering speed of the D, could give an impression of whether the DL is any better than his D.
Or anyone else who's used both. -Aaron -----Original Message----- From: "P. J. The DS is much faster shooting RAW than the D is. I do find the difference in controls very annoying. I generally prefer the two wheels on the D, and it over all gives a more solid impression in the hand, but the placement of the wheel on the rear Ds is much better. I have yet to fill the buffer on the Ds when doing what I would consider deliberate shooting, with at most one or two exposures a second for a series of three or four shots. The D will choke occasionally when shooting the same way. The DL has a smaller buffer than the D IIRC.
