I would like everyone to submit. Some have previously opined that they neither submit not comment because the PUG attracts low-quality work. If they feel that way, there is nothing I can say to change their minds. I would, however, prefer if the better photographers would submit good work, to serve as an example, and offer constructive suggestions as to how those of us who are not up to snuff can better our work.
The bottom line, of course, was to create a little stir in the hopes that it would result in more PUG entries for July, and possibly even more comments on the entries after the PUG is posted on the web. If I accomplish those modest objectives, I will be pleased indeed. If I ruffled a few feathers in the process, so be it. It will have been worth it.
