...is a pain in the ass compared to scanning slides. I scan my slide, with some adjustments on the preview in the scanning software, save it as a TIFF, and make fine adjustments in PE with the slide sitting on a small lightbox right next to the monitor. Easy. Only small adjustments needed.
My last shoot was color print film, though (needed to distribute lots of prints quickly). The prints give mediocre scans, the negs give =different= mediocre scans, and I have no external reference for making adjustments. Frustrating. The planned GESO may take a while.
