I'll risk the flaming. Stick with the 300D. Except for the plasticy build
and sub-par viewfinder, if you like it already, why switch? Features are
pretty much the same as the Ds. Neither has a PC terminal. The "upgrade
path" with Canon is clear at this point. Pentax is an unknown quantity for
the future. Will they release a higher-spec camera than the *ist D in the
future? Probably. When? who knows? Will it be behind the
equivalent-priced option from Canon? most likely.

Subject: Advice needed: to switch or not to switch....
Lately, I'm kind of in a big dilemma... I extremely love my ME
Supercamera... I like to mess with the chemistry and work with the
BWfilms... BUT there is still the DIGI... and I have Canon 300D....
Thedilemma is - IF I sell the canon and the lenses I will be able to
get*istDS and probably some neat lens and memory...
BUT…
1. What will I do with my CF cards? I have 1G extreme III and 512Ultra II
both SanDisk. Selling them here doesn't look like a good ideasince I won't
get any good price.2. Don't you think that I will stay on the same level
of body, or evendowngrade a little? The AF system is not that good as the
Canon(AFAIK)... There are other things that compensate on that like
spotmetering and all the other things...
Also, I don't know if it does have an outside flash sync connector(for
studio gear) and it's kind of important to me....
Please advice
Thanks a lot in advance
