Miranda was a Japanese camera brand that was popular in the 60s and early
70s, but is now out of production. As explained in the ad, this is a Cosina
lens with the Miranda name on it, but appears to have no connection with the
old Miranda brand, in a way similar to the Voightlander-branded Cosina
cameras that have no connection to the old Voightlander brand.
As for the AF feature, it sounds useful and very unusual. I've never heard
of any lens with a complete built-in autofocus system that works with almost
any manual camera it can be mounted on. Has anyone heard of another lens
with a similar set-up?
