Historians find snaps more useful than the serious stuff (grin).
Actually snaps are inherently more interesting if you know the people in them.
The so called serious stuff is just for hanging on a wall to break up the
monotony of a bare wall. Even if you do not know the people well done snaps
(street photos) are usually more interesting.
I personally have always been more interested in people and things more than scenics and wildlife photos. I mean I can go where someone took a scenic and see pretty much the same thing while no two people shots are ever the same.
