Unless you mean that much production will be farmed out to just a handful of manufacturers. That may happen, but I think many of the brands will remain.

mind you, bronica was a purely MF system with no digital path whatsoever
(unlike pentax with 2(!) digital slr bodies). and contax -- they did the "canon
lensmount trick" at a very wrong time and their dslr was a flop.
