I blame the salesman.  Why is he showing a camera like the 20D to
someone who doesn't understand slr's?  If he knew his stuff he would
have picked up on the skill level of his customer and told him about
the need to use the view finder and used the accuracy of what you see
in the viewfinder as a selling point.
