I have considered going Canon, too, but the "full-frame upgrade > path" is, for all practical purposes, no more accessible to me with > Canon than it is with Pentax. And conversely, the full-frame upgrade > path is just as accessible to me now with Pentax as it would be if I > switched to Canon! > My original post mentioned full frame only as an upgrade path. I can't afford to go there now either, but it's an option should I get the funds or whatever. It's Pal who keeps touting Pentax coming out with full frame sensors in the future. I used the lack of development on Pentax's part as an argument for an uncertain future. Pal's belief in a future for Pentax DSLR development INCLUDING full frame sensors is supported by a total lack of evidence. The full frame argument is moot to me. Pal's "almost" argument is one of the stupidest things I've read in support of Pentax. "Well geewiz, guys, give us a break, believe in us, we ALMOST built a killer camera...." please. Christian
