REPLY: Huh???? Where have you "recently seen" that? As far as I know Pentax did in deed almost market a full frame DSLR before even Canon had one. I haven't heard anything about Pentax having changed plans in this regard. They have released a new series of lenses whose only purpose is to avoid problems at the edges with full frame sensors. For what it is worth even Nikon doesn't have a full frame DSLR as yet. Pentax have recently relocated 60% of their R&D towards DSLR's. It will take about 2 years until we see the fruits of ths major change of direction. The Pentax boss has clearly stated that the company plans to make DSLR's at all levels; also the DSLR equivalent of a high-performance sports car. When it make sense in marketings terms Pentax (and Nikon for that matter) will release full frame DSLR's. Christian: "Second, speaking of lenses, there seem to be more releases of consumer grade lenses while the high-end true quality glass is being discontinued. " REPLY: Which high-end lenses has been discontinued? I'm not aware of any... Pl
