I bought mine from KEH for $275 a couple years ago. Bargain condition i.e..
a few scuff marks on the barrel, glass and mechanics perfect. If I didn't
love that lens so much I'd be tempted.

It's a good lens... but $1200 good?
About a week ago, an older F*300/4.5 which was totally beat up
went for a BIN of 599. And it was truly beat up.
