#1 - FULL-TIME ISO DISPLAY!!!

'Twould be handy. Of course, I've set the ISO warning to ISO 400 or higher, so unless I'm at ISO 200, I have a warning on the DS. I always want to be on ISO 200 unless I need something higher.

#2 - Instant ISO change capability.

I like the DS' 'Fn button, right arrow press, press,...' to cycle through ISO settings. Very fast and easy. Same goes for all the other Fn button shortcuts: white balance, drive mode, flash settings ... Although, to be honest, I'd rather have the meter patterns where they put the flash settings. I change meter patterns a lot more often than flash settings.

BTW: one press of the Fn button and you have a readout of all the current WB, Drive mode, ISO, and flash settings, ready to change any of them instantly.

#6 - Histogram on instant image review (like the ist-DS). Heck, I'd
accept having the histogram show up *instead* of the image ;-)

I find the histogram a distraction. I usually have the review image set for 3 seconds with highlight saturation blinking ... That gives me all the information I need, and is faster to recognize than the histogram.

Spot white-balance. We have spot metering. Why not have the ability to
set white balance by a small area rather than the full exposure area?

Already there in the DS, set by a custom setting.
