I really like my DS. No complaints at all. Well one, I wish it had a PC connector but I have a Safe Sync on the way to take care of that.
I even really like the kit lens. It is sharp and contrasty. Ok it has some CA and distortion problems wide open at wide angles but if necessary these can be easily corrected in CS-RAW and PTLens. I really enjoy digital because I'm a cheapskate. OK it was painful spending that much on a camera but now I don't have to consider the cost of pressing the shutter button. I even save money by taking more pictures as the cost per shot gets less and less. Now I just have to find a way to stop becoming so "enabled". :) Powell
