I didn't like the DS when I looked at it. I have the D. On the DS, they got rid of the control wheel in front of the shutter button added some dummy modes that I was never going to use made the media format SD instead of CF where I already have an investment in CF (thanks Pentax!) and (it appeared to me) cheapened the build. Any one of those would have been annoying; all four together became a dealbreaker. Amita
