Aperture priority almost all the time, except when using flash when I
switch to manual. The camera is virtually faultless with exposure. I can
count the number of times I've had to adjust exposure compensation with
the fingers of one hand.

Not really. I previously shot with the LX and the exposure was excellent
on that. The MX is manual anyway, so it was an easy switch. I never use
shutter priority, or program - ychhh.
