I use the Sigma 70-200 f2.8 on the*ist-D and have no complaints. But I almost always use it in circumstances where I'm not using a tripod and am shooting at higher ISO settings (like swim meets) - so I'd have to take a hard look at some of my images taken in more controlled circumstances and see how they fare.
