sort of, but there are far more lenses i have used only on the digital body that i have no plans on using on a film body. i was hoping that the crop factor's elimination of the corner softness and chromatic aberration would improve the usefulness of my Sigma 15-30, but it didn't do it enough. either i had a bad example or they were just generally not sharp in the corners at any aperture. however, the crop factor made the strange grain that i have noticed in the out-of-focus areas of all Sigma lenses i have used worse, so i got rid of it. i figured that if i had to compromise on quality, i would at least compromise with a focal length that Pentax didn't have, namely the Sigma 12-24. i have seen the same effect in Canon mount versions of different Sigma lenses than the ones i owned, so i know it's not a Pentax-specific thing. i also see it sometimes in my Pentax 80-320, but only at the long end. this effect occurs on film too, but since the magnification to the print sizes i use most is less, it's less objectionable.

Have you ever had a lens move to the digital side?
