Some M series lenses are very good, and the quality is generally superior to F and FA. The M 50/1.4 is easily the equal of other Pentas 50mm lenses. The M 135/3.5 isn't super fast but it's probably better than other 135/3.5 offerings. The M 35/2.0 is an excellent lens, and the M 400/5.6 is a big improvement over the K version. I'm sure there are more, but these will serve as an example.
