Tom,

Yeah, I know what you mean about the "one shot' theory. I wasn't tryinig to say their photos won't be wonderful. I'm sure their tele shots will be better than mine. Maybe that's why I figure I better get something different, because I'll never be able to compete with them at their game. Besides, they know what sells and I don't.

No, that's not what it was, either. I was there to have fun, not to make money. So getting down and dirty (or in my case, snowy) is part of getting fun shots sometimes. Doing different things is what I like to do.

And, yeah, I was joking around about the Canon guy - I mean he was unfriendly, but he'd have been that way if he had a Brownie. You're right, maybe he was just having a bad day. I have those sometimes, too. <g>

cheers,
frank

They were there for the money, Frank. They knew that only one shot at most would be used, and didn't feel any need to bust their ass. If they had thought they might get a major spead from it they would have gotten down and dirty too (if they are any good). You were seeing "Pros" at work.

The unfriendly guy was unfriendly because he was an unfriendly guy (or his wife had just told him she was leaving), not because he used Canons. But, you know that.
