I usually jump on any new OS from MS, but after using the trial version for 6 months, I'm not impressed. You can get things done, and the security is allegedly better, but it can be a real trial. Networking is a pain, the interface is too different, and UAC (User account control) sucks. It will take some getting used to.

There are several good books out, also.

I just got Office 2007 (it's awesome!) so I'm using Outlook 2007 now. Wow.
What a difference! Spambayes still works with this version. We just bought a
new computer (haven't hooked it up yet- had to order it and it just came in
today) so I will be using Windows Vista soon. I just hope that all of my
important software at least runs smoothly. Anyone have Vista yet? If so,
what do you think of it?
