Don!  I was intending to use a high capacity storage drive for a myriad of 
reasons, least of which was backup.  I wanted to use my System Commander 
and install RedHat, NetWare, Advanced Data Center Server and more all on it 
and make them all boot options.

I cannot afford the 10 computers I would like to have to maintain test beds 
and further my education.

Of course CD-RWs are inexpensive now, the technology in less than 2 years 
will give way to a number of new technologies, Fluorescence comes to 
mine.  Much higher storage  capacity and ability for configuration and 
distinct video and audio perception.
