Jeff,

I found this on the Microsoft support site. It sounds like my
problem.

OLEXP: Cannot Create an HTTP or Hotmail Account in Outlook Express 5
(Q241841)

      SYMPTOMS
When you use the Internet Connection Wizard in Outlook Express 5, you
may be unable to create a new HTTP or Hotmail account. The I'd like to sign
up for a new account from: Hotmail option may be missing or you may not be
able to choose an HTTP server as the incoming e-mail server type from the
list in the E-mail Server names dialog box.

      CAUSE
This behavior occurs because the HTTP mail setting is disabled in the
registry.

-----------

It goes on to tell how to change the registry, I copied it and will
try that next Sunday when I'm over at my mother's house.

Thanks, Vern
