It seems, the solution is to enable "from_is_list" so the message will actually send "From: Edward Ned Harvey via The List" and "Reply-To: Edward Ned Harvey <[email protected]>" I know in the past, there was a lot of room for opinion. But now and moving forward, there isn't a lot of alternative. Assuming the list is run on mailman, the one and only obvious correct action is to read the DMARC page on Mailman above, and choose one of the solutions that they recommend.
