My immediate question is: how do others manage?
I'm on the Samba, Apache lists: AFAICT, they work as usual. they have
proper From: fields. That includes recent posts by addresses @Yahoo.
What's the difference?
Do those lists prepend things to subject lines or attach footers to each
message? it appears from comments elsewhere that if the list forwarder is
extremely careful to leave the original message unmolested, it can preserve
the validity of the original signature...
I am on illumos and zfs lists and all of their email is showing up as:
name via illumos-zfs in the from.
and in the reply to, it has the users email address and the list address.
Shouldn't this list do exactly what the others are doing?
