Workflow status update against `upstream/master` (`09c6a528`): since #7149, the old multi-OS `build` matrix described here no longer exists. The push-only `test_group` matrix now explicitly sets `fail-fast: false`, so the sibling-cancellation part of the issue appears addressed by that workflow refactor. The remaining timeout concern still applies to the long-running `pr_build` job: it has no job-level `timeout-minutes` in the current workflow. The existing `timeout-minutes: 10` belongs to `check-license-header`, not the Maven build. @Jainish-123 mentioned an intent to work on this on Sep 19; are you still planning to take the remaining timeout change?
