Jack, As long as everyone (read: Current vendors) are in agreement as to what business model functions best, they will all continue to provide an inferior product at an elevated rate. That's what works best for the "bottom line" short term, and that's all anyone cares about any more. Bringing in competition that legitimately competes would be a game changer, but don't look for our good ol' boy network to approve competition anytime soon.
