Thanks for the suggestion! However I don’t want to deal with all those different platforms and distribution channels. That’s like what developing was in the eighties, the golden age of home computers, and that’s what the web set out to change. I develop web apps, some of which I make available through Firefox Marketplace. One can hope that eventually there will be a W3C standardized TCP Socket API.
