Fair enough!

fwiw I've had good luck with various USB Cyberpower with either NUT or
upd(4) and something hacked together with sensorsd. They are probably
sold with various other name badges too.

I would tend to stay away from APC, had too many problems with them.
Difficulty communicating with some of the USB ones, they seem pretty
hard on batteries, and it's the only brand where I've needed to use
a jemmy to get the battery out...

But I'm not sure I would recommend any those today. Instead consider the
portable power stations (which tend to have lifepo4 batteries), some of
these have a UPS-mode and are reusable in various other situations that
wouldn't be much good for a standard UPS (for example if you want to
borrow it to go camping). I've seen a positive report about EcoFlow
River3Plus working with upd(4) but wouldn't be surprised if others are
compatible too.

(On the other end of the scale, most of the big many-kVA and 3-phase
units have network interfaces and passable SNMP, and nearly always
work ok with NUT, but this is definitely not what you're after :-)
