presumably, there is some minor-portion of my hdd being taken up by the earlier/other OS - but once my wifi worked correctly in obsd; there was no reason to worry about anything else after setting up my default for obsd as first-to-boot... this is a non-issue - please do not ask someone who could do this job to waste their time on it for YOUR reasons... i, personally, would think it is more-interesting to get some other hw working first... but truly it is up to each-of-us to do what we choose to do... if you want to dig into the details of mac-boot-issues, im afraid you are going to be rebuffed fairly early... if you are looking for helpers to do this project for yourself, then i suggest a different approach to your initial email... good luck and just my 2-cents, h.
