Yes, the machine are different, I'm doing upgrade of hardware, I buy tp-link model n. TG-3269 and have the same chipset and work very well on this machine that have OBSD 4.8, but I tested the SAME ethernet that I'm running on 4.8 in new hardware with 4.9
