Hi Dennis,

Tell your wife to turn the Preview Pane off (Command-\). Chances are that she will be able to delete the offending message now.

Ciao,

My wife is running using the last version of OE on an iMac with OS 9.1. She ran into a problem where someone sent her an email with an attached file. If she tries to open or even select the email to delete it, it freezes her Mac. She's rebuilt the OE database, but that didn't solve the problem. Booting up without extensions also didn't help as she then couldn't launch OE to try to deal with this email.

Does anyone know of a way to successfully get rid of this troublesome email? Or is she doomed to have it stay there forever in the In basket?
