Title: Re: Problem with version 5.0.6
Greetings Edward!

I too am running the same version of Outlook Express on OS 9.2.2. I have been experiencing all sorts of weird shit since I began working with this combination. I am beginning to believe that there are compatibility issues with this OS and OE. I think the only way to remedy the problem is to upgrade your OS. I can relate to your concerns about upgrading. Not only do you have to pay for the new OS but you have to make sure all your applications are compatible with this new OS. More money right?

I have a few suggestions. I would be happy to donate copies of OSX cds to your cause. I don't know how you feel about bootleg software, but you can download copies of most software on the market through a peer to peer network called Limewire. Let me know if you might be interested.

Bob,

Money is one reason. The upgrade costs would be a few hundred $'s.

There is also the reason is why? If OS 9 works for *ME* there is no
compelling reason to go to OS X.

As a side issue it is clear to me that OS X is not ready for the home market
*YET*. Even OS 9 is no great shakes, I really don't find it that stable. I
may be speaking hearasy but MAC is not the greatest thing since slice bread.
Its good, but not great as everyone seems to think.
