Bob, Money is one reason. The upgrade costs would be a few hundred $'s. There is also the reason is why? If OS 9 works for *ME* there is no compelling reason to go to OS X. As a side issue it is clear to me that OS X is not ready for the home market *YET*. Even OS 9 is no great shakes, I really don't find it that stable. I may be speaking hearasy but MAC is not the greatest thing since slice bread. Its good, but not great as everyone seems to think.
