I agree - Tiger does rock !!
I am running it on my 1.25 ghz Al PB. I LOVE spotlight - in seconds it was able to find a file that I thought was long gone. Mail looks better too - simplistic and clean !

Just tried out the RSS feeds too...very fast. I am not sure if it is my imagination but Safari does seem faster. Like Steve, I am still working out Automator but have set up a few little workflows for picking up and filtering mail. It's pretty slick.

The dashboard is a nice feature. I like being able to have access to my addresses without having to open Address book each time. It's pretty neat how it grays out everything behind when you open dashboard and the finder icon turns into a different icon which opens a draw underneath the dock so the dock is raised and this bar slides in underneath with all the widgets displayed. All you have to do is click anywhere on the desktop to return to your apps.

So far, I have not had to install any new drivers. It was a much smoother transition than some of the previous OS updates.

Faster than Panther on my G3/500, and Spotlight is possibly one of the best developments I've seen since OS X first hit the shelves. Amazingly quick.
The new Mail.app is much better designed as well, and the RSS feeds feature in Safari works very well, though I'm not sure whether I like Firefox better still. Safari also seems to be much quicker loading pages now.

Only one odd thing; Stuffit expander is no longer installed with the OS. (Neither is IE, but that was to be expected)

Still working on figuring out the Automator, though from a first look, I think it will be very useful.

Cheers - Steve K.
