Has anyone had this problem?

I am running OS 9.1 on a PowerPC 8600/300 with 160 mb of ram (256 with VM).

When I use IE 5.1, it constantly freezes. I have to do a hard shut down and when I power up again, there are always 2 documents in the trash. One is called download.cache and the other is cach.lck.

I have tried moving IE to a drive with more space, setting the IE cache higher as well as lower (it's at 10mb now), manually emptying the cache frequently, increasing the memory available to IE.... NOTHING WORKS.

Any ideas? HELP !!

thanks

Molly
