Geetins, Isn’t there. JHalfs build option to compare multiple builds? For optimizations. Glibc won’t even build I thought optimizations. Even when authors set default opimizations I toes the mean they are the optimal options. I’ve used “-O3 -march=native -fomit-frame-pointer-pipe” for ages. I recently did an LFS 9.1 build with a Pentium 233 MMX system but with O2. And doing it again with Os. My suggestion when running yes is to use the default flags by the author. There aren’t usually any variables differentiating CFLAGS between build and test. We do this at our own peril.
