I see your point, Kadal, though I'm no fan of Ubuntu and prefer other distros. What galls me is that Ubuntu make it so very difficult for the non geek inclined to download and install software that they (Canonical) have not authorized. Not even Apple makes it that hard to download non-Apple software.
