littleb...@gmx.de changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |littleb...@gmx.de --- Comment #228 from littleb...@gmx.de --- Today I did the update to KDE 5.8.2 on Manjaro 4.7.10-1 and the plasma settings crashed completely. I have an external screen connected to my notebook. The external screen is the main screens, the notebook the second one. Problems after the update and a system restart: * The second screen had the taskbar and desktop configuration of the main screen. * The main screen had a default configuration running. * The configuration of the second screen was completely gone and never seen again. At this point we simply moved the taskbar of the main screen back where it belongs and changed all desktop settings as desired. This was a nice try, but Plasma did not apply the layout change from Desktop to Folder View on the main screen. In fact restarting the session afterwards discarded all newly done configurations and brought us back to the starting point. On the way while ending the session plasma restarts with different screen configurations multiple times until the session seems to kill it. We've tried using a new activity, but it didn't help. We found a workaround for the panel displacement and desktop settings by deactivating setting of a primary display. I can supply more information if you need it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
