thank you for your response. I'm not really into KDE's development. But
probably detecting windows that "constantly moving" or "playing a video" or
"graphic intensive" and disabling the blend effect for them would be a better
idea. that way apps like kate and Gwenview won't have the issue which you
mentioned. plus non-fullscreen playback won't suffer anymore.
